"To those who knew him, he was the beacon of laughter and genuine thought; he was the measure of a man. Through videos and personal relationships, he illuminated the lives of many, at home and abroad, never failing to pass on his charisma and courage to anyone who crossed his path. It has now been nearly one year since the world has lost one of its most charming, inspirational, and brilliant people. A year that has had many of us longing and confused. But in his departure, we find new perspectives, new confidence, and new life. His name was Rodger Swan, and he was truly an idol.
Remember to cherish those you love, and never take a friendship for granted. Life can be stripped away as easily as it was given, so for those of us who have nothing left to fear, we must make them sure that it was worth it. Love to you all, and Rodger: we will meet again soon.
I'm blessed, I know / Heaven sent, and Heaven stole"

Hi,
I have been watching your channel since 2008. You should have won an award or a wad of cash for your Ice-Cream City vlogs. I think you have a natural talent for humor without trying that is very addictive to your viewers.
In fall 2011 I began a 3 year BA Graphic design degree. I did it with the intention that in getting it, it would allow me to apply for teaching jobs and immigration visa in Japan. This May I submitted the final project, in July I will have graduated...I dunno how I did it man...
I would like to send you all the artwork I have done since May 2010-present on DVD. If you provide me with a postal address, I will send you a DVD... my email addy is: dave2004artwork@yahoo.com I'm sending em out to everyone who I know will appreciate it, and everyone who means something to me.
Kind Regards, David.
Thanks so much for releasing these tracks!! Any chance of releasing the entire OST used by Rodger for Tokyo/Iwate Swan?
I was looking through some of my favorite videos on YouTube and ran across Tokyo Swan's video. Thank you for the awesome videos that remain timeless in the vast sea of the internet. It's nearly 10 years later and and I still miss his presence.
On 23 january 2020 will be Rodger ten yrs memorial.
Yes Rodger swan was too young but he can still see everything these 9 to 10 yrs. Hope that he is happy
Oh man, it's hard to believe that Rodger will have been gone for 10 years next year! I still remember watching his videos back in small-town Ohio, wishing I was in Japan with him! It took me until 2013 to make it happen, and I'm happy for my 2-year stint being stationed in Yokosuka where Shenmue took place! But I'm working to come back to Japan to study abroad in Tokyo next year! We'll definitely see you next time!
I made a documentary about Rodger, and used one of the tracks from this collection. Thanks for releasing them, and check out the doc if you get the chance! Thanks, and rest in peace, Rodger! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhB51lrToa0
